Mission Statement

Reaching out, Touching in, One heart at a time.

Social Issue is devoted to the reintegration of homeless people back into mainstream society by providing outreach and support services, the development and management of transitional housing through the utilization of private sector resources and asset redistribution programs.

Outreach in the Street:

Social Issue works at street level offering compassion and understanding of the levels of distress many homeless people are suffering. These trying times have placed many more people in situations that never thought they would ever be in.  We listen. We understand.  We work with individuals and the Salvation Army and Veterans Association.

Social Issue offers case management, ID’s, document retrieval, help with food stamp applications, job applications and resume’s.  We also have clean clothing, shoes, rain wear, blankets, hygiene products and more.

We work with individuals to establish realistic goals, build their confidence and then accept personal responsibility within their life. All with compassion and encouragement.

Our transitional lodges are designed to help people who are homeless and strive to assist residents back into the community and fulfilling life.  Social Issue Housing has a strict drug and alcohol free policy.  All residents are expected to respect one another as fellow human beings.

If you are in need please see details on our contact page.
